This was a 15-minute comedy series that aired on NBC during the early 1950s. The Paley Center for Media has an episode and gives this description:

"One in this series of comedies, punctuated by numerous musical numbers, in which musical comedy star Vivian Blaine and comedian Pinky Lee play a nightclub singer and her accompanist, who is in love with her. Vivian Blaine opens this program with the song "On the Boardwalk in Atlantic City." Then her piano tuner, Mr. Hemingway, attempts to explain to her how a piano is like a human being and demonstrates how it can express joy and even get a cold. As Mr. Hemingway is playing the piano for Blaine, Pinky Lee enters wanting to tell "Miss Blaine" about the ballet he went to last night. He misinterprets the situation and becomes hurt, believing that Mr. Hemingway has become her new piano accompanist. After Pinky Lee leaves, Blaine, accompanied by Mr. Hemingway, sings the ballad "Tell Me Why." Lee comes back, returning all the objects Blaine has lent him over the years and tells her that he is going to join the ballet because he feels unwanted. Includes commercials. "
